Ray and Shantel Valdez are high school sweethearts who married in August 2015 and now have three beautiful children: Hadley, Hayden, and Hannah. Ray and Shantel are passionate about seeing people encounter the presence of God. They've faithfully followed Jesus and have committed their lives to obeying Him and teaching others to do the same by exemplifying 1 Corinthians 11:1, "Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ."

We are so excited to plant Zeal Church. We have been stewarding this call since 2018. We are being sent by the Elders of Mercy Culture Church as a family church. Pastors Landon and Heather Schott are a spiritual father and mother to Shantel and I. We wouldn’t have planted unless they sent us.
