VALUES
WHAT BRINGS GOD NEAR

We value obeying the voice of
God no matter the cost. We
consistently prepare our hearts to
give God our “yes,” even before
He asks. The cry of an obedient
heart is “Lord, here I am.”
Genesis 22:1-2, Acts 26:19
OBEDIENCE
If it costs me everything
We are made holy by being
saturated in God’s presence. We
submit ourselves to His refining fire. As we are made holy, we see Him more clearly; for without holiness no one will see the Lord.
Hebrews 12:14, Ephesians 2:21-22,
Matthew 17, Psalm 24:3-6
HOLINESSS
Make me Holy
Our desire is to be in unity with
the Holy Spirit. When we are
in unity with the Holy Spirit, it
brings us into unity with each
other. Where there is unity,
anything is possible!
Philippians 2:2, Genesis 11,
John 17:20-23
UNITY
Anything is possible
Submission is wanting what God
wants. Just like Jesus, we do
nothing on our own accord. We
are willingly submitted to the Lord
and to the leaders He has placed in
our lives.
Luke 22:42-43, James 4:7
1 Corinthians 16:15-16
SUBMISSION
Not my will

HUMILITY
Humility brings God near. Where God is all, self is nothing! It is impossible to be near God without being humble.
James 4:6, Psalm 51:17, Matthew 11:29
CONSECRATION
We cleanse ourselves from everything that defiles our body or spirit. We set ourselves apart to work toward complete holiness because we love God.
2 Corinthians 6:16-18, 7:1,
1 Peter 1:16, Psalm 101
TITHE
We honor the Lord with the tithe. With joy, we give to God our first
and our best.
Malachi 3:8-10, Matthew 23:23-24
DAILY ENCOUNTERS
There is only one way to God, and it’s through Jesus — but in Jesus, there are many ways to connect with God. We disciple people by helping them discover how they best connect with God and by teaching them to access the presence of God on a daily basis.
Matthew 6:7-15, Proverbs 8:34, John 15:4, 1 Samuel 3:1
SABBATH
We are committed to honor the Sabbath. We set apart one day each week to rest, heal, and hear God. This is a day to be with the Lord. The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. Sabbath is about realigning our attention to Him.
Hebrews 4:9, Mark 2:27
LEADERSHIP STANDARDS
WHO WE EMPOWER

UNIQUE CHARACTERISTICS
WHY WE ARE PLANTING THE CHURCH
We are a Presence driven church
We are not built around any person or ministry. We are built
around the presence of God. We consistently ask God for His mind
and His heart for His house.
Exodus 33:13-18, Psalm 105:4, 1 Samuel 2:35, 1 Samuel 30:7-8
We are church planters
We are called to raise up and send out spiritual leaders who carry
the passion of evangelism and church planting, to spiritually lead
cities.
2 Timothy 4:5, Acts 13:2
We prioritize people over ministry
We prioritize relationships over ministry. We understand that the
hearts of people are more important than any job, process, or task.
We believe that people are not obstacles in ministry; people are
the goal of ministry.
Romans 12:10
We empower women in ministry
We believe women are called to lead, teach, and preach for the
building and strengthing of the body of Christ.
John 20:11-18, Acts 2:17, Romans 16:1
Forgiveness is not saying that
those who hurt you are right;
you are choosing to release
them from your judgment. There
is no spiritual growth without
forgiveness.
Matthew 18:21-35, Ephesians 4:32
FORGIVENESS
70x7
Jesus came to serve, not to be
served. When Jesus described the
greatest among them, it was those
that were the servants of all. The
greatest among us will be one that
serves.
Luke 22:25-27
SERVANTHOOD
Lead with a different Model
Without faith, it is impossible to
please God. We are obsessed
with what pleases the Lord.
Hebrews 11:6, Ephesians 5:17,
Matthew 17:20, Romans 10:17
FAITH
We want to please God
We empower those who are
committed to hear God and obey.
God called David a man after His
own heart. We empower people
who are after God's heart and
mind.
Acts 6:1-6, Exodus 18
EMPOWERMENT
His Heart
A repentant heart will do
anything to be right before God
and before man. True
repentance bears fruit and
brings healing and restoration.
Psalm 51, 2 Corinthians 7:8-11
REPENTANCE
Don't take your Presence from me
We long to be like Jesus,
where God is all, and self is
nothing. True humility is proof
of a real relationship with
God.
Philippians 2:3-4
HUMILITY
We go low
We build the trust, character,
and relationships of tomorrow
by engaging in the tough
conversations today.
Matthew 18:15-20, Matthew 5:24
TRUST
Lean into awkward
We choose to slow down and
communicate clearly today, so
that we can move forward
faster tomorrow.
Romans 14:19, James 1:19,
2 Corinthians 1:13
